Associate Veterinarian

Great progressive small animal practice looking for outgoing and professional Associate Doctor. Come join our privately owned family veterinary practice in Millerton, NY! We are located in the Hudson Valley, named by National Geographic Travels as one of the top 20 must-see destinations in the world. Our practice is conveniently located 2 hours from New York City, borders Connecticut and is also just a few miles from Western Massachusetts.

We are seeking a full time or part time caring, compassionate and competent Associate Doctor who can bring their best medicine and work in collaboration with our practice owner. Applicants must possess excellent communication and people skills and work well with a team in order to maintain the healthy and happy culture we are proud of. Responsibilities require routine medical, dental and surgical care, treatment plans and a sound diagnostic acumen. We are paper-light full-service hospital including digital x-ray, in-house Lab, ultrasound and therapeutic laser. Our practice owner offers holistic services including Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture as well as Chiropractic services. We appreciate and emphasize wellness and individualized care.

Our ideal candidate will be seeking a long-term position and be willing to be an important contributor towards growing our practice. No emergency or on call service required; we are currently open Monday through Saturday and offer evening hours. Veterinary Technician Assistant

We are seeking a Veterinary Technician Assistant with previous experience. The team member’s skills should include assisting in office appointments, animal treatments, housekeeping and veterinary reception duties and possess above average computer and communication skills. Our candidate will play an important role in creating and contributing to a successful visit for both animal and human client alike, as well as continual support in maintaining the high standard of care we strive to deliver at MVP. The position is challenging and involves a high level of multi-tasking. Licensed Veterinary Technician

We are currently seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician for our integrative small animal practice in the beautiful Hudson Valley, adjacent to the Berkshires (MA) and Litchfield County (CT). The team member’s skills include (but are not limited to): patient care including diagnostic procedures and treatments, triage and effectively obtaining patient history, laboratory, surgical, radiology and dental procedures, anesthesia monitoring, prescription preparation, proper practice of safety protocols and aseptic techniques, understanding and ability to operate veterinary equipment, instruments, familiar with pharmacy procedures, and strong ability to communicate medical knowledge and instruction.
